Straw bale gardens are all the rage these days. People seem to love this seemingly easy way to grow vegetables in bales of straw – but is it all it’s cracked up to be? Thankfully we we author, teacher, master gardener, man of science and myth-buster Robert Pavlis to help us separate fact from fantasy. Robert recently did an experiment where he set up a side-by-side comparison of a straw bale garden with a conventional garden in the soil. Have a listen and hear what he observed!
