Kim’s Cinnamon Rolls

Dough in bowl

These cinnamon rolls are a holiday recipe that Kim grew up with, and continues to make for her family. The recipe makes a very large batch, perfect for sharing, and they’re flaky and delicious with a cup of tea or coffee. They’re unlike most cinnamon rolls – the dough is essentially a pie crust, so that says a lot. Kim was gracious enough to send me home with a few, and they didn’t last long at my house. They’re fairly quick to put together, and they freeze well, too.

Swivel store

One of Kim’s favourite things in her kitchen is the Swivel Store spice system. It’s available on Amazon. (Not an affiliate link; Kim just loves it!)

Shout out to Alma NB’s sticky buns!

We go through Kim’s teas in exhaustive detail. This Tetley one is a recent discovery of mine – it’s a lovely cozy no-caffeine option. We discuss coffee and tea as the rolls bake.

Kim likes Skinnytaste for finding healthy recipes.
