#134: The Producers (1967)

It wouldn’t be a Mel Brooks month without his first film about two men involved in an insurance scam by creating the worst Broadway production ever made… except that it doesn’t go as planned and they have a smash hit on their hands. Mel Brooks also won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and the film was later made into a Hit musical and then the musical was made into a film… but how does the original shape up?
